Each week Peter trawls through his Steam library picking out those random titles that have been abandoned, never completed and (in some cases) never even played. This week he tries out the indie, first person survival horror game – Montas.
Developed and published by Organic Humans, you play as Joseph Walker, an accountant trapped in the nightmarish city of Montas. Navigate the corridors, streets and tunnels of a world that you’re never quite sure is either real or some terrifying, alcohol fueled hallucination.
It’s the curse of every PC gamer – The Pile of Shame.
A stack of games that grows ever larger with every Steam sale and Humble Bundle. You buy these games, convincing yourself they’re a bargain and that you’ll *eventually* get around to playing them… but never do. The pile grows bigger and bigger until eventually it takes on a life of its own.
Well Peter is saying enough is enough and is going to conquer his Pile of Shame little by little, every Wednesday in this new series.
The game mechanics don’t paint the picture of something that will scare you. When you sink your teeth into the history of the pizza joint it all gets quite unnerving. And the robots they come alive. Sheer panic abound!
So we decided to spend a quiet, testosterone filled night in with our “bros.” – Stallone, Statham, Lundgren and Crews. Liberating the 8-bit pixel world from terrorists and evil Mel Gibson.
That’s right we are playing the free Broforce/Expendables 3 crossover game – The Expendabros.
Developed by Free Lives Games, Broforce is an over-the-top action platformer that sees you teaming up with the greatest action heroes of the 80s and 90s in order to take on terrorists and the armies of Satan. Available in both single player and “bro-op” this game is guaranteed to put a huge smile on your face.

It’s out with the new and in with the old as in this episode Toby, Rick and (the newest Killer Bit) Peter chat about the long list of remakes, reboots and remasters making their way to the new consoles.
And, as Ubisoft and a number of other major publishers call time on developing for the Xbox 360 & PS3 we hold a small wake for the last generation of consoles and discuss what were the highlights of the last console cycle.
We also have Toby’s thoughts on Zojoi’s remake of the classic point ‘n click adventure game – Shadowgate .

The P.T. demo is genuinely beautiful, but equally as scary. Lucy takes the lead here (as Peter played with Toby for youtube.com/thekillerbits). She isn’t easily startled, but there was at least one scare that got to her (have a guess which one, and take a look to see if you’re right)!
Hidden In Plain Sight and Nidhogg are the best multiplayer experiences that I have experienced all year. They both evoke feelings that I haven’t felt since playing old Net Yaroze titles and Klik n Play games with my brother when we were barely even 10. Really do check these games out, you can tell in the video just how much tremendous fun they are!
Taking a break from the often dark and scary Drangleic, Toby does his best to brave the PS4 exclusive – P.T. But, inevitably, falls short of actually touching the controller. In steps the valiant Peter…
P.T. (aka. Playable Teaser, aka. Silent Hills demo) was released recently during Sony’s conference at Gamescom 2014 and the internet instantly made it viral. The puzzles are fiendishly cryptic and even harder to solve when a deep feeling of dread accompanies every controller input as you anticipate the unfolding horror. This demo (and, indeed, the whole upcoming reboot to the Silent Hill franchise) is a collaboration between both Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro and perfectly encapsulates Kojima’s engimatic approach to game design and del Toro’s ability to create atmosphere and scare the pants off you.
Prepare for the most realistic and terrifying experience that current gen gaming has to offer.
If you wish to experience P.T. for yourself it is currently free to download for the PS4 on PlayStation Store.
